The Buzzcatz were honored to play for the wedding of FLA Governor Charlie Crist and Carol Rome at the beautiful Vinoy Resort in St. Petersburg, FL on 12/12/08. The newlyweds and their 300 guests danced the night away to the sounds of The 'Catz on a gorgeous December night in Florida. We wish The Governor and Mrs. Crist a lifetime of happiness together!

Ricky and the Buzzcatz is the BEST band in Orlando! When I got engaged everyone that I talked to raved about the Buzzcatz and told us “you have to book them!” So, I did research and absolutely fell in love with them, and we are so glad that we spent the money to have them at our wedding. We had a large wedding with a variety of ages and EVERYONE was on the dance floor, dancing the night away. If you are considering the Buzzcatz but think they are expensive, find a way in your budget to cut back somewhere else and book the Buzzcatz. They are sooooooo WORTH it!!!! Not to mention that Ricky is so easy to work with and knows exactly how to work the crowd. If I ever have a large party where I need a band I will use the Buzzcatz again!

I can not thank you enough for performing at our wedding and for the amazing job you all did. You all sounded magnificent. We loved your demos when we first heard them, but Stephanie and I were thrilled and surprised that you were even better in person! Everyone had a great time and sang your praises (including my parents, who loved that we had "real" dance music).


We came up with a question for you on our drive back to Chicago....We were so happy that you put the time and effort into learning "our song" and doing it live. We thought you did a remarkable job with it, too! We loved it. Is there any way we could get a recording of it? Just thought we'd ask.

You guys were absolutely terrific at the reception on Saturday. I applaud your talent for keeping the dance floor packed all night long. From the moment they opened the door to the venue, my wife wanted to start dancing. Even the recorded music you played between sets was very well done.

PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pardon my pun, but it was "Music" to my ears to hear my husband say, "You were right, I was wrong about the music and dance floor." Every time I looked out, the dance floor was full of folks dancing. You all really do know how to build the evening and ours was tailor made.

People have been calling and raving about the food, house and property, and most of all, the band. I have always said music elevates the event and you and The Buzzcatz certainly fulfilled that on Friday night. One even mentioned we have said this was our last party but our friends are strongly protesting. If and when we have another, you will be my first call before we settle on a date. Again, thank you for such a beautiful backdrop to our evening.

In planning Tiffany's wedding, Susan and I decided early on we ought to cut back on flowers, decorations, limousines, and the like so that no compromises would be made with entertainment at the reception. Unquestionably, we made a wise choice.

The band was outstanding for our daughter Tiffany’s wedding reception four years ago; and when it came time for Joanna’s wedding this fall, Susan and I never considered having anyone else but The Buzzcatz. We just got back from our Honeymoon this weekend and we could not wait to write you.

What can we say... The Buzzcatz were absolutely amazing. We had the time of our lives at our reception!! We are getting non-stop compliments from all of our guests about how wonderful, energetic, and fun you guys were. The crowd stayed up dancing all night long.
We could not have been happier with the way things turned out. You made the reception a huge success and the energy and chemistry you put into the room, through your music, was indescribable. Ricky - The Buzzcatz were awesome Saturday night!!

I have received so many compliments on how wonderful the band was ... people kept asking me where I flew you in from! I know Andrew's father had a couple people ask about booking you for an event - if they contact me for your info, what is the best way for me to send them to you? Email, phone?

I don't even have the words to describe how perfect the night was, beyond my wildest expectations ... all of the songs you played were great, everyone kept saying they were so surprised that song after song was a great dance song. I even heard people were up dancing during the entrance song as everyone filed into the ballroom! When you were playing "What a Wonderful World" for my dance with my father - he said to me, "this guy sounds just like Louis Armstrong, it's spooky!" I had been telling him that all along, but he didn't believe me!
